Has anyone tried livestreaming while writing a script, or is that just a bridge too far?

$Meme, showing superheroes looking at two fighter jets in the distance. The jets are indicated as "Vibe coders", while the superheroes are indicated as "Caffeine addicted autistic people". In the second panel of the meme, one superhero says to the other: "Look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power."$

I need to identify for myself what the fun parts of gamedev are.

I want to switch my email provider. I understand having a private email gateway would be the cheaper alternative, but the way I want to handle everything is just a bit out of reach. I'd pay for an option, I just don't know what would be the best option to pay for.

I want to file a mark for my thing, but with other things taking priority in my head, I haven't had the time to even think about how it would look. What I might do is make 3 different marks and just cycle them around. Maybe.

When you plan to cut grass, you wouldn't expect the entire motor to separate from the deck as you go to crank it.

So . . . I officially have a business now. I won't say what it is yet, BUT I'm thinking about whether or not to make a new Patreon or rebrand the one I already have (probably the first) on top of other things. I'll probably do the same for itch io, but I'll do a whole separate website just in case.

Summer's over. Cons: I have 3 months to finish this game. Pros: Feels good to breathe again 😌

I must once again emphasize that if you are putting art on the internet, you need your own website in case some fucking management ghoul decides the platform they paid too much money for isn't worth how much they paid for it

I was in the Anomaly the other day trying to see if anyone had an exposure expansion unit to trade, but nobody responded. Guess what, I just found a mission that has one as a reward! Now I might just start gifting them to see what happens.

This is probably the worst place to ask (cause I'm not sure anyone'll respond), but when I file for a retail license, I have the option to put down a DBA. Even though my FEIN doesn't have one (it's using the legal name), is it best to use one here? Thumbs up if Yes, thumbs down if No.

The last time I tried printing a manga, I wanted to try and put together a sort of "staple slab," where I can mount my stapler so that it can bind the pages down the center booklet style. I need some sort of adjustable alignment base where the staples won't get stuck in the base at the same time.

I think if I ever end up making kid's media, I'll just use my real name. Sounds obvious, but that's the whole point of having an online persona. That being said, I don't think I have to make a second patreon for my business name, I just have to include it where it matters.

it’s wild that the heritage foundation wrote in text that the assault on trans woman particularly in sports is their first step in their efforts to completely abolish all Title IX protections and liberals still don’t believe it’s about more than trans women in sports

A coworker was talking about the games industry (they're unaware of xbox's dirt) and I mentioned that someone should try and make a new console "from first principles" (not in those exact words). He said something about Sega, and got me thinking about that.

Stuart Semple had announced the software he and his team was working on, NIVA. I have my assumptions about it, but it seems competent so far. I'm not a fan of web apps, but I'll see what it's about when I can.

I've been outlining the game to give myself a clear direction as far as where I want this game to go. I've already mapped out as much of it as I could, but figured an actual "script" will at least allow me to start checking things off. This seems like basic knowledge, but sometimes you forget.
