I know starting a script makes you guys nervous. I honestly don't know why. You're just sitting down in front of a blank document that needs to be good enough to attract tens of millions of dollars in funding and the interest of A-list actors who have infinite choices. That's all #scriptsky

I know it's been said before. But if you wanna land an agent, your screenplay has to be bulletproof. So after you read this, go buy a gun. Tack your script to the wall, step back, and pump a couple of rounds into it. If there are no holes when you're done, your script is ready #scriptsky

I'm often asked what sounds to capitalize in a script. It’s not hard. Always capitalize common sounds of violence (The thief SHOOTS). Also, common sounds of pleasure (The housewife MOANS). But most importantly, always, ALWAYS capitalize common sounds of despair (The writer CRIES) #scriptsky
