My daughter went into her first appt with the MH Practitioner at her GP surgery. Within 3 seconds of setting eyes on her, the prac asked ‘so have you been diagnosed with ADHD?’. So that’s definitely 2, probably 3 neurodivergent children I’ve birthed #skills

Just made a huge batch of fat American pancakes for my tiny babies who are too young to cook (they are 17 and 21). I am best mummy ever apparently, but I am pretty sure this was already public knowledge. Nigella Express pancakes btw. Make up the dry mix and keep for when a feast is required

I’m in Leeds, in a big hotel room by myself. My daughter was very concerned about leaving me alone. There is a gorgeous wine bar next door, an excellent shop opposite, no one has asked me what’s for tea and I’m not being harassed by cats. I may never leave.

My 17 year old has fallen back in love with football; it was his life when he was like 6-11 years old, until shit happened and he stopped playing. We are going to watch the Prem next season so he can pick a team to follow because (his words) ‘I can’t follow Spurs’ (he was a massive Harry Kane fan)
