I drafted a Blue/Black nonsense pile that was trying to do all of the things 😂 P1P1 Towashi Guide-Bot was unexciting but solid! I tried to add lots of cards that support multiple archetypes in order to keep the 1v1 drafts interesting!

My wife and I did a Minneapolis draft of my new bulk rare Twobert! The main synergies include +1/+1 counters, draw/hand size matters, tokens/sacrifice, Maskwood Nexus matters, and artifacts. She drafted a sick mono-white weenie deck with a P1P1 Mazemind Tome 🧠📖 She out-valued me 🤦‍♂️ #mtgcube

My takeaway from the event was the incredible sense of love, gratitude, and pride for the Milwaukee/Wisconsin Cube community and my part in it. The Mana Vault, and everything it represents, has changed my life and those around me in profound and amazing ways. Cream City Cubers for life baby! 💙💛

Lost right away in the quarter finals! P1P1 Cogwork Librarian out of a weaker pack. I think I drafted my seat correctly, but didnt take enough fixing. Never got a busted opener and felt the need to mull to 3 already down and game and that was that! 🤡 My brain was honestly mush after 12+ hours of MTG

Followed up going 2-1 in @glhfgames.bsky.social’s Old Border Foil Cube! P1P1 Deranged Hermit sent me down the mono green path and I kinda just stayed there. This deck lacked the nuanced interaction from a second color, but at least executed its plan consistently. Was lucky to only lose one round 🍀

Started out 3-0 with big red sneak attack control in The Mono Red Cube by @glhfgames.bsky.social! I maintain that this is the best strategy in the cube. Without traditional card advantage sources, the use of sweepers, impulse draw, rummaging, lifegain, and unanswerable creatures are crucial.

Yes! This cube was my introduction to peasant. Personally, wouldn’t want to play it any other way! I only had rootbound crag and foothills, but another player had 10 nonbasics in the main deck!

Love having these cards in my spell slinger cube, thanks for designing them! Id love to see more splice onto instant or sorcery in the future, it seems like a perfect solution to the parasitic nature of splice onto arcane cards. I tried to make those work before but some of them are really slow.

The pixie etb stuff looks appealing, but without knowing the density of its support pieces, I would play it safe and take my beloved DCB 🦇 If I P1 pixie, I feel like im unlikely to wheel the blade or the inspector cause people know how good they are. I would love to play this cube!

I have found a lot of value in doing 1v1 Grid and or Winston drafts I do my fair share of bot drafts and list pondering, but sometimes I just need to sit at the table and touch cardboard to get a full understanding of the cube

This gameplan looks reasonable to me! I know fixing was heavily contested at that table with 2-3 domain decks. Im doing some playtesting this weekend and experimenting with having an EE in the command zone instead. Also adding a bit more lifegain to combat the burn and aggro decks. Any thoughts?

Looks really fun! I like the direction you are taking with reanimator. Using premium effects to bring back fair creatures like rune scar demon sounds like good clean magic to me! If youre worried about it being too good you can just add more spot removal like fell or even murder feels good here

Finished strong with my first 3-0 of The Old Border Foil Cube! My first 3 picks were fetchlands so I just took the most efficient cards while settling into the green seat. I never have luck with the archetypal decks in this cube so I just played good stuff and got lucky with getting my colors.

Went (4-2) at Bar-B-Cube 2! Brings me to 16-8 overall at Mana Vault cube events. Still no top 8, YET! Started out 1-2 in my friend Zach’s Heavy Metal Cube. Deck was sick but I made some dumb misplays. There is a ton of overlapping synergy in this cube, and it goes up for CubeCon25 voting on 6/17!

Today I drafted Unfinity for the first time with the homies and had to bust out the tape measurer 😂 It plays surprisingly well as a 4 player 20 life free for all, you just have to treat “ask a person outside the game” cards as if they said “another player at the table” Instead.
