As a 25 yr in-ground 22k gal pool tech (ha!) I can confirm algae will bloom if you do not maintain chlorine (Cl) properly. 1 day w/ low Cl levels, and algae will have a party and turn that money pit green. Will take days (and more $$$) to clear, esp when water temp is high.

Beautiful pool with crystal clear water.
