Noooooo, my favorite mutant being played by such a bland actress. Cailee Spaeny, just know that in my heart, you’ll always be Anna Marie, aka Rogue 😭

I remember it took me forever to find another show that grabbed me after Penny Dreadful. Everything people recommended as "similar" just wasn't hitting... then I found Salem. The whole vibe, especially the way the witches were portrayed, felt way more compelling to me, and I was instantly into it

Do you think so?? Idk. Maybe it's because I haven't watched the whole panel or all the interviews, but I still feel like she deserves more attention. Míriel really doesn't get much visibility, especially considering how important she is. 😞

Idk, but I think he dies during the War of the Last Alliance or a little before it. Either way, it'd still be in the final season

000

And yes, whenever people ask her questions, they're often about Mirendil. Even if we like the pairing, come on. She's playing Míriel, one of the Professor's most important female characters in the Legendarium.

As for shipping, I usually don't like getting involved in those discussions. It's not really abt the ships themselves, but I do wish the showrunners would stop giving people more fuel to keep making that one of the show's main talking points. There's so much more in the story worth exploring.

sariane @sarriane.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

That bothered me too. It sometimes feels like she's there just to fill a "quota" instead of being treated as an equally important character. Besides, the Númenor storyline is only going to get bigger because we already know where it's going. The focus should be there.

this is how i imagine trop series 3 begins.

"Skill issue" by sariane, a 4 panel black and white Rings of Power comic. First panel shows Sauron holding a hammer saying "Hey, man. I need some help forging my evil ring." The Balrog replies "Oh, that's not really my thing. Did you ask that elf?" Sauron, sad: "Uh...No, I killed Celebrimbor." Balrog, shrugging: "Well, shit."

Sure, Jared Leto is a creep with multiple allegations to his name over the course of two decades, but you have to understand that he's also a mediocre actor who's a nightmare to work with and whose movies are critical flops that don't make money.

And what if, just for a moment, Elros's flashback gave us a tiny nod to a certain music-loving Fëanorian while he remembers the choice he and his brother made? Let me dream 🤧

The sheer scale of this season is unreal. I'm getting chills just looking at this image PS: Fëanor's little hammer and Morgoth's crown are gonna be working overtime this season. 🤭

Couldn't agree more. That site is just awful. I stayed away for over a year and mostly hung around here instead. The vibe is so much healthier, and the TROP fandom is much more united here too

My old account got deactivated because I'd been away from that cesspit for over a year. Honestly, we're not missing anything. I spent five minutes on there and instantly regretted it

How do you guys still manage to stay on X? That place is so unbelievably toxic. I went there to check the tweet about the episodes (I don't agree with dropping four at once either), and the replies are still full of awful hate. It's just unbearable 🙄

Just imagine how furious Fëanor would've been in Mandos if he knew Sauron had used his hammer to forge the One Ring. Sauron, you're gonna pay for this!!

As we count down to Season 3, I'm joining the #TROPRewatch in my own way. For every episode, I'll be writing a poem inspired by a character, moment, object or theme that stays with me. Episode 1: The Leap

Forging of the One Ring is going to be unhinged? So we're getting nude Sauron or loincloth Sauron, then.

Guysssss, this teaser was way more than I expected, but I have to admit that scene bringing back Galadriel and Celeborn's meeting in Doriath made my heart so warm. 🥹 #TheRingsofPower
