i’ve hit my reading goal for 2026 with 3 months to spare!! it’s been so great to get back into reading like this - to consume all different kinds of novels and stories. i think at the end of the year i will go back through the books i’ve read and put together a tier list or rank them. 🤠

i’m learning how to cook with a stainless steel pan so i can get rid of all my gross “non-stick” pans and i think it’s going well so far 🥹 in the first pic, just the chicken was cooked in the pan (and then i deglazed the pan and made a lil ~sauce~ with all the tasty bits) second pic, omelette

my dinner: pan-fried (and baked to finish cooking) chicken breast seasoned w salt & pep, garlic & onion powder, and thyme; Main St “ready in 6 minutes” roast potatoes, garlic and rosemary; steamed green beans seasoned with (plant-based) butter, fresh garlic, pepper, and lemon juice; garnished with parsley
