Dismantled the battery of my #ev #motorcycle & replaced the BMS. It took all day and features some of the most difficult/worst soldering I’ve ever done. But hopefully my bike’ll live again after a troubling couple of weeks. New BMS has Bluetooth, so next project is to connect it to #homeassistant 🤞

This was some concrete, a pile of old bricks, and a terrible patchy lawn when we moved in. Now it’s got a pond, healthy plants, bees and butterflies. Lawn has dried out a bit since I regrew it in spring, but it’ll come back lush when USA switches to renewable energy.

A modest sized town garden that doesn’t look half bad, actually mate.

Got married last week. Lots of nice things. One of those things was that we handmade our own rings, with expert guidance from Claire Acworth of Wernog Wood. We both used gold from old rings given to us by our parents, and matching sapphires. Anna’s design is elegant. Mine is rugged. A bit like us.

Clacton voted for Nigel Farage to represent them until the next general election. That was what they wanted and what they entrusted him to do. Nigel Farage has done nothing for them since, barely spent any time there, & then resigned. No-one has less respect for Clacton than Nigel Farage.
