Anyway his surgery was 2 years ago today. On the record they said he'd have 3-6 months if we didn't do chemo, off the record the surgeon told me his dog had similarly clean margins and went on another 2.5 years. At first we thought he'd not even make it the first few weeks, but here he is. 2 years!

At first he had some trouble settling on the sofa and his bed. The softness made it hard for him to balance but he worked it out. 3/4

This is the last picture I have of Chappy with 4 legs. That was 3 days before he had to have his front left leg amputated. Probably the hardest time Nat and I had to deal with. Chappy was fine though, dosed up to the eyeballs on painkillers. 1/?

Yesterday I saw The Invite. Absolutely in the top two of the "films I've seen this year" category. Today I saw Obsession and super glad it's had this long a run. Great film, truly horrible. Finished The Bear, which went out on a flawless final season. A great weekend of entertainment. I am content.

Our dog doesn't care about squirrels but foxes drive him nuts 😅 He has to go out in the garden on a lead so we can check it's clear of cats and foxes. Even on three legs he's dangerously fast.

Thats what I think. I've seen the mum previously but only with two cubs. Was shocked to see so many today! Never realised how alike coyotes and foxes are. Cute pups!
