The downside to taking a slightly early lunch at work is you can wind up halfway through the day but have 5/6 of your break time used up.

If I type "I feel pain" and then select it and press Ctrl C, and then Ctrl V, my computer will say "I feel pain"! Think of the implications!

This show had two modes: some of the best satire on television, and unironic pandering (most of the Baby episodes). One of them is phenomenal.

"This boss takes 40 bullets to defeat. Sorry, you should've preserved more six hours ago. What's that? You tried but didn't do well enough? Too bad, your save is softlocked. Get rekt."

90s games be like "here's a consumable item that's mandatory later in the game, but we're not gonna tell you it's mandatory, and you can consume it earlier and not have it when you need it"

I don't know who is responsible for my thoughts, words, and actions, but it sure as heck isn't me. It's probably women.

Hobbies are overrated. You can't fail at vegging out on the couch watching TV for six hours straight.

I try to be good at everything I do. After all, is something really worth doing if you can't be to do it right? Yet my success rate for creative endeavors would suggest I am, in fact, bad at things I do. So if several years in I clearly can't do it right, is it still even worth trying?

it's kinda weird to think i've been married five years today. some days I still wake up and have trouble believing that I could be so lucky as to have the life I do, with the wife I do, like it's all a dream.

People replaying MGS4 in 2026: Act 1: "Why were we so hard on this game 18 years ago? The stealth mechanics are great!" Act 3: "Oh yeah, now I remember."

Counterpoint, what if they WERE trying to appeal to teens, and just missed the mark in the most fellow kids way possible?

Congratulations, Budweiser. Your Clydesdales inconvenienced me enough, interfering with my trip home from work, then it makes me want to buy Budweiser products less, not more.

I genuinely think Donkey Konga would have been far better received if the track list hadn't been so god-awful. A Donkey Kong Rhythm game? That sounds awesome. Terrible covers and literal nursery rhymes? Not so much. The second one was a step in the right direction but still not there.

You don't understand. Sonic appealed to me in the '90s,:and I'm an adult now in 2026. Therefore, in the '90s, Sonic appealed to adults.

But hey, at least the people releasing these things get a few minutes of clout, which is really the only point here. Quality or preservation have nothing to do with it.

There's a lot of vibe-coded recomps flooding the interwebs these days. And yeah, pretty much all of them are hot junk, because they're made by people who have no idea what they're doing and no capacity to fix bugs beyond telling Claude to fix them.
