There is no food for purchase anywhere on the Battle Road from the Minuteman Museum to Meriam’s Corner, and I forgot a spoon for my tuna pack. It also poured rain for the last hour of my march. I still loved it.

I paid a little extra to enter the North Church bell ringing chamber and the crypt in #Boston. It was well worth it. I was surprised to learn that Pitcairn was buried here after being killed in the Battle of Bunker Hill.

I can well imagine human sardines trying to make it down packed #Salem streets in about 2 weeks. I just visited the House of the 7 Gables before the crowds arrived.

I had the idea that there were stairs going up a hill to the Bunker Hill Memorial in #Boston. The 296 steps are inside this monstrosity of a memorial. The pictures do not convey the size of this thing.

I just returned from #Boston. My favorite place was the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. I spent 3 hours there and needed more time.

I woke up looking like a defeated boxer. I guess it’s contact dermatitis from weeding the yard yesterday. My daughter put together a care basket for me because she’s awesome.

We have two cats. We let them in the backyard to play sometimes. Today, they caught a baby bird and a lizard respectively. I had to coax away and release their unharmed prey. Almost #Caturday
