i gave up on stoat because not only do they still not have a lot of features despite having existed for longer, they're working slower and just straight up dont have federation planned. I get that it's a volunteer team mostly, but still, i think they're just too slow.

but no federation = no fluxer, i've said this a bit recently but federation is fluxer's win condition. If they do it well, they win, they're the definitive discord successor.

i don't like plutonium still, but i think my first evaluation of it was too harsh it still paywalls global emote use and profile customisation, but besides that, it enhances features, it doesn't paywall them, so you can still bookmark things, plutonium just lets you bookmark more

it's that time of the year again where i'm looking at discord alternatives, this time i think fluxer's it it's a carbon copy of discord, the only feature it's missing (and isn't shit or useless) are threads and it has a lot of unique features plus federation soon.... cautiously excited

Dither compositor setup, Took the ASCII compositor set up I made and turned it into a ditherer that turns shadows into pixel dither it isn't perfect; the edges are very ugly and I haven't tested it on scenes with variable lights but oh well #b3d #blender

Lizard of the day: Two-lined fathead anole! A Brazilian species! In addition to their perpetual pissed off face they have a cool green and white coloration featuring black stripes! Their patterns can be simpler and sometimes feature dark spots instead of stripes.
