I think I hate the scp-ification of horror. The backrooms movie coming out has a lot of new people reading house of leaves and then giving it terrible reviews because the “lore” of the house isn’t explained or there’s not 57 entities with 23 levels of esoteric lore.

There is nothing that lights up my nostalgia more than this aesthetic in games. I loved riven and exile as a kid, even though I had no idea how to solve the puzzles. Exploring those worlds was a visual treat.

I’m on week 3 of not drinking soda. I wish there was a way to continuously consume large quantities of caffeine that wasn’t coffee, and tea just isn’t enough caffeine to keep me going. I often find myself getting too tired too early now and if I have coffee after 6 I’ll never fall asleep. Alas.
