As a person with ADHD I know all too well how annoying that can be. I might not remember the names of the streets of my town or forget about the thing I just spent the entire day saying "I can't forget about this", but show me a picture of a pokemon and I'll tell you it's name and type

So I did promise I wanted to to at some point separate Orión from ffxiv to an original story, and today I present to you the result! She'll be one of the main characters of a story in progress I'm making :> (Art from her in ffxiv will still happen tho dw) #art #3dart #blender #OCart #OC #OriónArol

Orión Arol, my character from ffxiv. I grabbed from that game to turn her into a completely original character, inspired by Thundercats 2011 to design her as a cat-like person. On the up-right corner there's a lettering that reads "Orión Arol. The Lady of the Dawn captain". If you come from tumblr you'll remember that name from the pirate AU I was writing. While I'll probably want to close that off soon with some last gposes I do want to grab the basis of that story and also turn it into my own original one. So while gposes about that AU might stop, in the future, the story will continue as a thing separates from ffxiv, with original characters loosely inspired by the ones I was using in gpose. And yes I went crazy and thought to make it 3D :D

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter (NDS) (2011) 1/10 You've probably noticed that I love the look of this gorgeous game, though I haven't even touched upon all the cool ingame cutscenes and boss fights since that would take me like a week to capture, so here's lots of colorful locales, hope you enjoy! 🙌

A beautiful grand adventure and a spiritual successor to Tail Concerto, set in the Shepherd Republic, made out of multiple sky islands scattered around a large area, populated by anthropomorphic dogs and cats, called Caninu and Felineko respectively, talking French and having adorable names like Chocolat Gelato.

We follow the exploits of Red Savarin, a Hunter, doing odd jobs and quests, accompanied by the aforementioned Chocolat Gelato, his adoptive sister as they fly the airship Asmodeus, going on a mission to get some stolen documents and get thrust into an epic adventure.

Here we have Red piloting his trusty Dahak mech, a bipedal robot with long dangly arms like the Robot Troopers from Laputa: Castle in the Sky with an open seat so the pilot is fully visible and exposed, like here with Red running around the white sky docks of Airedale, a beautiful sky island full of small houses built upon a central hill, full of trees, floating ships and birds flying over.

It would be an understatement to call this game gorgeous, it's one of the most beautiful games on the Nintendo DS system, with a beautiful anime opening by studio Madhouse and designs, visuals and story worthy of the best PS1 RPGs, it's just a joyful experience with lots of colorful characters and an epic story, so give it a shot if you haven't played it!

The fungal forest of Vizsla, a sky island covered in "fungi dandelions", large yellow shrooms as a curvy wooden bridge leads Red to a giant Ladyshroom, a friendly red ladybug creature.

Deep orange skies glowing over the mishmash of metal parts and flimsy stairs on the floating island of Basset, made out of wrecked airships and other machines, with birds flying under the tall metal pillars barely holding the walkways together.

The capital city of Pharaoh, one of those typical quaint cities that show what Japanese people think the entirety of Europe looks like, with clock towers, train stations and residential buildings rising around a long cobblestone path with staircases leading downward, populated by lots of puppydog people, all curiously 2D drawn in wonderful pixel art fashion while Red in his mech is fully 3D.

The Crystal Exarch and Orión having an um... private conversation as Exarch's crystal begins to glow in anticipation of their very exciting subject to discuss. He's removing part of her neck's cloth because he saw a mosquito there and wants to remove it and she's gratefull for it yes yes.

In case someone might not know: DLSS 5 is technically a genAI filter, which tries to upscale game graphics to look more "real"- turning it into uncanny terrible looking nightmare fuel instead. If you are into that trash then be sure to block me because I will block anyone if I spot that shit.

The videogame guy I'm controlling? That's not me; I'm me. The main character in a novel I'm reading isn't me either. More and more I feel like this is an unusual attitude towards art.

"Hey where did the captain go?" A gpose idea from my little #pirateAU that you can find on my tumblr! Story is slowly updating so we haven't reach this part yet hehe (link if anyone is interested to check it www.tumblr.com/irudraws/824... ) #ffxiv #gpose #ffxivgpose #g'rahatia #orionarol #wolgraha

G'raha Tia and Orión hide behind a white pillar from an arched hallway. While the others wonder where they've run off to, both of them kiss pasionately in the safety of the pillar's shadow.

Unfortunately there are not many good spots to gpose on ships (nor is it possible to spawn an entire ship with mods aparently) so while I did want to make them sea pirates I might just go the easy route and make them skypirates (way easier to find cool airship to pose on than regular ships)

My brain, out of the blue: Make a pirate AU #ffxiv #ffxivgpose #gpose #pirateAU

The Scions (plus Ryne) all standing over the bowsprit, all posing and wearing different costumes (kinda tried to go down the pirate/sailor-ish look)

Seems like Bluesky removed the label, but I guess the "reason" it was labeled in the first place was because they're both shirtless in some images, and whatever bot they're using read that as "suggestive". Love when that happens 😑

Orión holding her axe with one arm, looking down at G'raha in disbelief and irritation (not that you can really tell with her stoic face)

-G'raha Tia with the axe on his chest, one pointy side of the blade under his chin. He's shocked that he has been caught.

-"Oh no she's hot" he thinks, completely enamoured.

Wolgraha week 2026! Day 5. Adventure/relaxation "Orión and G'raha rest under the stars. She recounts the stories her father told of each constellation, oblivious at the fact that he had stopped looking at the night sky for a while now" #Wolgrahaweek2026 #g'rahatia #OriónArol #wolgraha #gpose

Orión and G'raha rest under the stars, after a long day of adventure inside the tower. They set up camp somewhere a bit away from the others.

They have set up a carpet outside the tent to enjoy the sights. Orión remembers fondly the nights with her father under the stars, and how he liked telling stories of them. Always true stories or made up ones. G'raha listens.

G'raha's POV. After a while his focus had shifted from what Orión was telling to the way the stars and the light of the crystals framed her beautifully. Which could mean nothing...

Somehow Orión is still unaware of how smitten this man is, looking at her almost with hearts in his eyes. He's trying to pay genuine attention to her words, but he can't help the smile and the blush.

Wolgraha week 2026! Day 4. Bitter/Sweet "After so many attempts, G'raha finally convinced Orión to dance with him, even if just one slow song. An ephimeral moment of bliss for him, his mind set up on his future and who he leaves behind" #Wolgrahaweek2026 #g'rahatia #OriónArol #wolgraha #gpose

A gpose divided in four photos (from left to right and from up and down)

-G'raha Tia and Orión dance a slow tune, Orión for once enjoying herself in such activity.

-The same shot, but we see G'raha's face, looking at her with sorrow, his mind already up for what is to come the next day.

-he cannot stop himself, and suddenly hugs her. Orión is shocked and confused.

-The same shot, again seeing G'raha's face. He seems to whisper something to her, fully aware of her stiffness. "Pray allow me a moment to stay like this..." When the sun rises the next day, he'll have gone to seal the Crystal Tower with him inside, so he asks Orión one moment to let himself embrace the one he wished he didn't have to abandon the most. Orión accepts, though still unaware of the bitter morning to come. If only she knew...

Wolgraha week 2026! Day 3. Past/Future "Care to join me in a dance?" (More context in alt!) #Wolgrahaweek2026 #g'rahatia #OriónArol #wolgraha #gpose

A gpose separated in 3 photos.

-First one is G'raha Tia and Orión during the Crystal Tower raids. G'raha Tia would often try to persuade Orión into dancing, though she was not too keen on it.

-Second one is a long time later, at the Crystarium. Orión now invited the Exarch to join in a dance during a celebration of the return of the night, confident that her guess was right and he was The G'raha Tia she knew, while he himself tries to avoid her gaze (both to ensure she didn't get to see under his hood and also to hide his blush). She respects his secrecy and keeps her distance during the dance.

-Third one is the two of them after the events of Endwalker, now finally together and enjoying a private dance, hidden over the Thaliak Stoa and under the stars (they probably would've gotten in trouble had they been caught).

(special oriongraha loredump for those that are still reading the alt :D) I have this obsession with them dancing together as a symbolism of their relationship. When Orión couldn't decide if she liked him or not, she'd refuse his invitations, and when she accepted them she wouldn't know what to do. When they reunited in the First, Orión quickly figured out the Exarch's identity, though not his intentions. Regardless she was more than happy to have him back, and now would be the one to invite him to a dance, even when he'd hesitate to accept. By Endwalker they were inseparable, thus whenever they'd invite the other to dance, now they'd do it without a second thought, reading each other's moves like a book.
