Drivers are now crossing the solid yellow line on Lady Hammond and driving in the oncoming lane because they wanna make a left at Commission. If traffic enforcement was here, we'd have tickets issued. Instead these people will continue to drive dangerously 🙃

It would be great if media (radio especially) stopped saying, "oh well, get used to the wait in traffic" and started advocating for active transportation, transit, and using a mix of all modes (including their precious cars) 🤷‍♀️

If you're gonna drive a car, bring patience. Yes, cars can go fast but that doesn't mean that drivers should creep into intersections when pedestrians are actively crossing. So, I slowed waaaaaay down while crossing Bilby when a driver did that to me today!

This time last year, I could work from home two days a week. I slept better, exercised more, and had more time with my family. Things have not improved for labour. They've gotten worse. I say this as the world burns around us & organisations keep forcing people to needlessly commute every day.

GF crust from scratch made for Labour Day weekend garlic fingers! Homemade donair sauce too (not pictured) 🤤 Mini pizzas for a couple lunches this week as well.

Garlic fingers cut into 14ths. It resembles a cheese pizza but there is a single vertical cut and six horizontal cuts in the pie.

Le fuck off tarte aux bleuets. Pardon my French 🤭

A blueberry pie sits on a parchment topped sheet pan. The top had an egg wash and sugar applied before the bake resulting in a sparkling, golden crust (should be crunchy!). There is a split in the top crust about halfway, and a hole by the edge near the top of the pie. A star shaped cut out of dough sits on the right side of the split.
Store bought crust 🤷‍♀️
