I’m so sorry. I once gagged in the middle of the street, thinking about something I’d smelled the night before. And that wasn’t even HG, just hideous nausea.

Ohh interesting, especially with the insane ones that let you ‘talk’ to the dead.

Until now, I’d forgotten we did grade 4 square dancing. Rural Ontario, late 80s.

My cat looks similar to this one, endless arguments on whether she is brown, grey or brey.

Going through a time of grief, reading Circle of Friends a book I’ve loved for nearly 30 years now. #speirgorm #maevebinchy

Absolutely! A holiday, and I run through every detail starting with waking up (the hotel, meals, activities, more meals). I look forward to going to bed a bit early sometimes to run through it

I’m like this with songs. Like if there’s a book set in the 90s and everyone is listening to grunge in 1998 you bet I’ll be annoyed (it existed, but the flavour of the moment had moved on).

I just finished it. Very twisty indeed, and there’s a Yeats reference.

In my Ottawa mailbox today: a crate of mangos (mostly spoiled) from Pakistan via Toronto and the new @janecasey.bsky.social book via @kennysbookshop.bsky.social and Galway. At least the book won’t go bad!!

I’d like to add that I know lots of people who have bought a half cow, some even with only 2-3 mouths to feed. It’s very economical!

What about when it’s signed into the owner’s Netflix so you don’t want to restart a show because someone is halfway through season 2, episode 7?

Cutting into a really juice lime. The glug glug sound when you pour wine from the bottle into a glass. The smell of really cold, snowy mornings.

My son was two and he somehow came up with ‘I like to poop it, poop it’ (tune of move it move it). I didn’t even think he was old enough to find potty humour funny yet!

My answer as well, I was quite young and I didn’t realize that women in their 30s were still partying and worrying about money and so on. I loved Last Chance Saloon and its portrayal of a gay couple which was slightly radical at the time.

Thankyou so much for your support of my posts here on Bluesky. I had a full breakdown last yr & *really* struggle with executive function due to autism & ADHD but you seem to enjoy my posts which gives me a lift & is helping me recover tbh. Really hope they help on your tricky mental health days 🌿

Congratulations! Read the short story at an Eastern Ontario cottage yesterday, and it was a cute one. I love the idea, I haven’t seen authors do that before.

My kids used to describe their whitest of the white skin as ‘beige’ which was awkward. These jerseys are uggo though. Iconic after tonight’s game, but uggo.

It’s so fun! The best part is that it’s been on so long that you have current teams who grew up watching the show. Watch for the team who can’t drive standard, there’s always some.

I love finding historical inaccuracies in books, this would drive me loony! Even when people are reminiscing about old 80s/90s songs I’m doing the math to see if they were paying attn to music when the song came out. Publishers DON’T do this!

I have a vague theory that part of the selection of Arbour was that she’s been in public life for decades and can handle the inevitable smears and criticisms. Sad that we’re here, but the CPC was going to do so regardless.
