dosnt this just strip the game of the tactical aspect of the game, if everyone is attacking at once, you basically cant work around positioning, or do more complex turns and actions.

Xenoblade is a good game because sometimes you're minding your own business when suddenly you encounter Inconceivable Jimmy, a lizard who is slightly larger than average Inconceivable Jimmy proceeds to beat your ass while the best song in the world plays

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

ah, afk gel production, im never buying a healing item again.

100

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

combat is getting wild, i now have 2 whole attacking buttons. also blocking seems more important in this game than other tales games, getting hit LOWERS my action economy.

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

asbel, i dont know why you thought charging at the child launcher 3000 would end positivly for you, a child.

an image of asbel knocked to the ground, with sophie standing between him and the monster

100

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

it must piss this man off so much that the son that he hates is the crown princes best friend. aston must be seething every time he sees asbel.

a massive green crystal with wing like growths coming out of it

also i have forgotten to update the thread, in the time since i left, i have repeatedly ignored my father, kidnapped a prince, jumped a knight trying to kill me, and run away from home because i wanted to go on vacation.

100

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

the thread already skipped about 2 hours of gameplay because i forgot. this will be a thread of sometimes

100

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

there ARE context sensitive post battle scenes in a lot of tales games, but those tend to be one offs after specific battles or unique events. this game has a bunch you can see as much as you want of, but only in the first few hours

100

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

its really intresting that because the first part of this game takes place so long before the rest of it, there are quite a few post battle scenes that you never see again

100

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

people with the condition that makes you forget things, sometimes forget things

this is the first use of d-16, but the idea of him being a slave, or a lower caste member of scociety, then changing his name to resemble megatronus prime once he became a revolutionary is an older one. i think this is the first one to ever give us a pre megatron name tho

if that is true, i hope that model ends up scrapped or used elsewhere, it would take almost everything i like about vypers design away from her

Iris @iris-spring.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

i love Vyper deadlock, she is so cool and awesome. but looking up fanart of her is abysmal, why do people keep giving her a cobra hood and a snake tail lower body, she looks literally nothing like that at all. please deadlock artists, stop drawing her like an xcom snake lady #deadlock #vyper

my dad came home from the hospital today after a week of being there. he was in a much worse condition coming back than he was when he left. and within in hour he had collapsed on the floor and had to be taken back. today has been one of the worst days ive ever had.

I understand that when people say this website might as well be Twitter there’s nuance to that statement and their frustrations with Bluesky are 100% justified But when I see the way this userbase reacts to abuse victims coming forward vs the way Twitter does? It’s night and fuckin day.
