I'm not the kind of person to suggest playing all games before Ravenous but I wonder if playing M2 => Fusion => Dread would go hard 🤔 It might be kind of jarring to play Samus Returns and then Fusion. Personally I would pick the original Gameboy game just to see the evolution of the series

fucked up thought: regular beams *are* in Ravenous, and the Beam Burst-like Beam is activated by right stick so for optimal DPS you mash beams + shoot Beam Burst + add missiles 🙏

Damn wait that was smart as hell... They knew players would be impatient and spam bombs so they put that little shortcut there to both tutorialize the bomb jump and show that routes like that exist... This legendary game from 1994 kinda smart...

I highly doubt this but it would be super interesting if the new Flash Shift's cooldown was based on Samus touching the ground. That alone would add so much depth to the movement

if Speed Booster is in Ravenous they need to make Shinespark puzzles that are longer and cooler. The early grav Burenia or the upper Ferenia """puzzles""" are PISS easy but r/Metroid still think they are the hardest thing in life and afterlife and beyond

the mini-map in Ravenous feels more crammed in but it's due to Samus's icon being bigger. Doors are 3x3 in both games, and they have the same size on the mini-map
