Scott Williams @ip1.au · 02/03/2026So, it's been a minute. What did I miss? #sccm #configmgr #memce 010
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 07/07/2025For the record I'd like to say I really hate what Microsoft has done to destroy technet and communities and whatever forums existed. It is somehow impossible to find or navigate anymore Or maybe I'm just old and the "new way" of doing things works better in ways I just can't comprehend 100
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 07/07/2025Hi all, Did I miss the announcement that #configmgr #memcm no longer exists? I can't find the product page or see it listed in communities anywhere. Or has it got another new name? 100
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 07/07/2025The link for the #configmgr #memcm #intune feed bsky.app/profile/did:... 000
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 07/07/2025Seeing the posts from @sccmcriticalcare.bsky.social in the hashtag feed reminded me why I spent so much time trying to convince people to stop calling #configmgr sccm 010
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 07/07/2025Help! In ConfigMgr admin service. I've bound an internal pki cert to using netsh. it works for about 5min before SMS_REST_PROVIDER log shows it being deleted and SMS issuing cert is rebound. The PKI cert is deleted from the server and has to be reissued! Any suggestion why? #configmgr #memcm 101
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 07/07/2025Hey all, been a minute since I was active here. First thing is the feed for #configmgr #memcm is being migrated. Not sure if that will be disruptive or not, but we'll see 100
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 05/02/2025Looks like Microsoft has scrapped the Microsoft Action Pack and replaced it with way less stuff, or way more stuff but for way more money. Has anyone realised yet how much we are all going to get screwed by moving everything to the cloud? 000
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 24/12/2024Somehow I'm in a roll despite not even remembering the last time I used linkedin 000
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 11/12/2024"We're currently upgrading machines to Win11 at over 20k a week" Director: "That's nice, but can't you go any faster?" 110
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 04/12/2024tfw you think things have been going so awesomely well for that last month before realising that it should have been "where >0" instead of ">1" 010
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 26/11/2024When will Microsoft add copilot to linkedin so it can automatically have conversations with recruiters and auto-tune my profile and resume without me needing to do anything 020
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 20/11/2024Has anyone sold a domain before? Any suggestions on best way to do it? Currently registered through godaddy and wondering if I just use their "sell your domain" service or is there other easy options? 100

Scott Williams @ip1.au · 20/11/2024Is then w365 client thing going to be targeted at enterprise? I'm aware of many organisations freaking out about how much their AVD costs have been creeping up and now trying to cut back, so would a device that effectively lock you in to cloud desktops be appealing in that view? 000
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 20/11/2024As someone who spent a LOT of time doing USMT profiles and configs for migrations in ConfigMgr, I'll be really curious to see how well this works. (it's REALLY HARD btw) Will it move *ALL* their data, and also work for their Win32 apps? 160
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 19/11/2024My new bluesky handle is @ip1.au just in case anyone thinks it's an imposter. I've also created a "new" profile with my old handle to prevent it being hijacked, but I won't be using it 010

Scott Williams @ip1.au · 18/11/2024I've had a lot of new followers recently but using clearsky it isn't showing me on any lists, so how/why did all these people find me? 310
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 18/11/2024I've exported my twitter data which also included the DM's... but it seems to include all the ones from accounts that must have been blocked or filtered coz they don't appear when I look at DM's in the app 000
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 17/11/2024Authenticator counts still have 42 and 69 in the lead with 10 and 14 following data set is 98 samples with 55 unique 000
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 14/11/2024Wondering how long it will take for my twitter archive to be available with the rush of so many people leaving 010
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 14/11/2024With the recent uptick in bluesky activity I think I'll make this my primary platform now. I'm not ready to delete my twitter account completely, but I'll just use it as "read-only" for now 1110

Scott Williams @ip1.au · 08/11/2024Call out to see how Bluesky land is going. I haven't engaged much lately and noticed lots of new followers, so maybe things are picking up? So who is out there and are we seeing each other now? #memcm #configmgr 390
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 03/09/2024I've been tracking the numbers that my 2FA authenticator has been giving me and 2 things stand out 1. There are a couple of numbers (10, 42, 69) that have repeated more than others 2. The "next" number is most likely one that hasn't been selected before 110
Scott Williams @ip1.au · 13/06/2024I have a case open with Microsoft asking if it is expected behaviour for the creation of a CMG using an existing Resource Group to remove all the tags on that RG. Has anyone else notices this? #configmgr #memcm 100
