Really its just about the amount of parts and how big your mesh is (I think that still applies) - your physics mesh needs to be as simple as possible. I still need to rewrite my guides from tw@tter but overall, it's not particularly complex.

110

Cevere @inzoxi.co.uk · 05/10/2026

just a bit of a fun metric for you: Murder haus = 81 land impact Church = 45 land impact both with a full physics mesh last image is how they look from another sim at lod factor 2... I don't mean to brag but why the fuck are some buildings on the mp so bad at this

1113

Cevere @inzoxi.co.uk · 05/10/2026

done! admittedly I do use 2k textures for this... more than I'd really like but it's time vs optimization right now. I'm comfortable with it though, it's a building so it kind of commands the need for that detail.

Could I make the wood on the beams make logical sense? Yes! Will I? Kinda but not really, because it's not worth it!

Remember: commissioning me for a castle or fortress only legally makes you a baron/baroness under english law if you want to be king/queen you're gonna have to do that one on your own; I'm but a humble maker.

given this is going to be a little water themed (small waterways, canal etc), making the chapel interior *vaguely* representative of a whales ribcage was a nice thing to stumble into.

Smugglers Chapel I wanna give it a couple hidden rooms, the idea is loosely based on the real smugglers grave(s?) in England from centuries past. :) Yes I have to make a graveyard too, though it's not a halloween project this time.

New release: Barrel Jeans at TWS. I wanted to see how far I could get on a single 2K texture. I was happy enough to not increase it. Comes in 12 colours for 900L or 800L for group members. maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/R... #secondlife
