Spent some time hardening the VPC network for guestlet virtual machines today. Everything down caps to a regular user with minimal caps (for root things), and PE is blocked. #homelab #selfhosted #cybersecurity

I was able to finally automate #freebsd in my #homelab . Not as easy to provision images as #arch #debian or #ubuntu but it may be more rewarding?

It took me 3hrs to move one of my hypervisors to #debian . Most of this time was spent backing up the volumes and restoring them. The nice thing is, the setup of guestlet was quick, easy and (appears to be) bug free moving between distros. #selfhosted #homelab
