Do you intend to use that document as you write the other material, or will that then be used as context for the model when you have it generate the text for the books?

Ok WARDOGS has me hooked for now. Played a couple hours today (too hot to do literally anything else) and really got the hang of flying the MH-6 helicopter. Kept one alive for an entire match and made some good money, too. The Lakota doesn't work with HOTAS, though. I was really excited to fly it.

Now, you build FOBs. Or drive. Or drop in the hot zone. Or... You just received for the 50th time because the other team won't stop raining mortars on your tower. I'm hooked. My Gladiator NXT (HOTAS) makes flying the helicopters a LOT of fun.

Intolerant Pacifist @intolerantpacifist.com · 28/09/2026

I'm finding WARDOGS interesting. The monetary system makes you think more about how you approach the game. In the Battlefield series, you didn't want to die because it gave the other team points. In WARDOGS, you change your play style on what you can afford. Crash your helicopter too many times?

Intolerant Pacifist @intolerantpacifist.com · 24/09/2026

I couldn't stand watching the fun helicopter videos from WARDOGS. I forked over the cash to get s chance to do it. Time to neglect my other duties to get good at piloting imaginary helicopters! 🚁

Yes! Being stuck with platforms and watching them implode year-after-year is frustrating. People aretrying to bring back webrings, and there are sites like neocities and nekoweb trying to fill the geocities itch.

Half-Life It was the first game that I completed all the way through. I had played many before it, but never actually finished any of them.

That's a tough question... The best part of the ATProto is that it is open, so any additional features would almost have to be on a client side? I think it is hard to figure out what you have on your PDS right now. With all the new services, they are sitting something there, but it is pleasure.

20 year old me would be impressed, but so confused about where I am in life. Married, kids, California, dogs and horses... My career trajectory alone would lead to a lot of questions. It has been a trip!

Been burning hard for a couple weeks, but my family got to spend a couple hours at the beach today. The beach is a special kind of release! We came home and I passed out for a bit. Now feel like a zombie. This coming week is a work travel week, with plane travel comes sorry writing (and editing)!

I mean... They were real bad... I ended up having to cut the roots that had grown into the water reservoir just to get the rest of him out. He lost sooo many leaves after that, but he seems to be recovering well.

An image of Planty the Potted Plant sitting in the garden right before repotting. He doesn't live out there, this was just my workspace.

PLANTY HAD A HUGE ROOT BALL IN THE WATER RESERVOIR! I ended up having to cut all these big healthy roots out... I was very worried.

Intolerant Pacifist @intolerantpacifist.com · 11/09/2026

I was actually getting ready to propagate some new roots further up the vine, and cut this whole section off. Then he started growing SO MANY new leaves! AAH!!! Apparently, if you take care of plant, and don't just let it turn into a ball of roots, then it actually grows...

Intolerant Pacifist @intolerantpacifist.com · 11/09/2026

Look at Planty the Potted Plant! This plant is a cutting from my mother's, which she got from her mother. I've only barely kept it alive until recently. It's been growing longer, but I recently re-potted it. NOW! For the first EVER! It is REGROWING leaves! I've never seen it do this! I'm so happy!

An image of a pothos vine climbing across the image. At the base of the plant are many freshly sprouted leaves!

Sen, but Spooky @dresdencodak.com · 29/08/2026

So I gave a talk yesterday about my page layout & digital painting process, and I'm entertaining the idea of turning it into a sort of tutorial that I'd make available online. We'll see...

Basic tips
- Blocking and value need to be confident before rendering detail
- Don't overly rely on the sample tool to select your colors
- Don't overly rely on program filters to mix colors (Overlay, Multiply, etc)
- Pay attention to where this contrast and where they don't
- Don't get hung up on "correct" lighting, color, etc.

- Hard Round Gouache (pressure - Size & Density)
- Round (Pressure - Opacity)
- Triangle (Pressure - Opacity)

- Highest contrast & saturation
- Soft BG
- Rim lighting
- Sharp edges but lower saturation
- Cooler colors emphasize warmth above
- Softer shadows & lower saturation

Congratulations on 35 years! We are 19 years into our marriage. My advice: Be curious and open to the person your partner will become, while actively learning and growing together. Life changes us, often greatly. My partner is not the same one I married, as am I. We love each other's growth.

I like it. Not just a straight remake, but let's really get some weird takes or perspectives on the story. Experiment with it as if it were a different genre.

The content, just like the other with Leaflet and others, lives on your PDS of choice (BSky for me), and moves with you if you go to any the *sky or host your own PDS. The pdfs and epubs are generated and downloadable.

That's exciting! I'll keep up with you, so I can check out the kickstarter. The only other manuscript-forward illustrated novel(s) I've come across lately are from Naomi VanDoren's The Isles of Antarah Series. I'm trying to collect the state of the art to help plan for my release.

Where can I learn more about your illustrated novel? I am also working on an illustrated novel. I'm still finishing the first run of the manuscript, but there are so few illustrated novels to look at as examples.

The Aesthetic Rebellion Bonus speedpaint: www.peppercarrot.com/en/miniFanta... #webcomic #krita #miniFantasyTheater

Panel 1. Cepper is happy of herself in front of her large canvas: a beautiful painting as she did on the previous episodes. The parrot looks at what she does on his perch.
> Cepper: “Alright, this is how I usually do it.”
> Parrot: "That style has high coherence for training data − I love it."

Panel 2. Cepper took her brush and now scribble on the canvas. (note: visual concept of the episode: the panel style itself is altered while Cepper tells it.) The Parrot feels uneasy.
> Cepper: "I know, and that's exactly the problem. I should start by making the outline rougher."

Panel 3. Cepper is adding thick painting directly from the tube, and now rub furiously her canvas, many colors and glitches. The Parrot start to be horrified.
> Cepper: "...more angular shapes, a rougher texture, and an overall less polished look."

Panel 4. The style is totally degraded: shapes, colors, glitches. Cepper leaves the canvas with triumph, throwing her brush, while the Parrot is now really horrified in front of it.
> Cepper: "Perfect. Try to train on that now, you tin can."
