I mean... They were real bad... I ended up having to cut the roots that had grown into the water reservoir just to get the rest of him out. He lost sooo many leaves after that, but he seems to be recovering well.

Look at Planty the Potted Plant! This plant is a cutting from my mother's, which she got from her mother. I've only barely kept it alive until recently. It's been growing longer, but I recently re-potted it. NOW! For the first EVER! It is REGROWING leaves! I've never seen it do this! I'm so happy!

I'm also not seeing the marginalia when I switch that on. Example below. I have click on the word, that I knew that I put a note on, but wouldn't have been able to identify it any other way. Is that intentional behavior?

Words on the screen to show that the word 'coxing' is not different from any other word.

Upon clicking on the word 'coxing', a margin not pops up as expected.

I'm digging the better separation between chapters. On a big screen it worked for most chapters until this one. I'm not sure if it is intended behavior. Maybe consider having the next chapter starting in the next column over? No matter what, I appreciate the better separation!

I track my drawing, and for the last 3mo, I've just my time. I NEED it now more than ever, but there is not enough time in my day or energy to match. Horses and a wild new piece of land have absorbed the rest of me.

This is just a concept to see if I can do it. I drew out my thoughts first, then imported the sketches in to OnShape. I've not modeled this loosely in a LOONG time, and CAD doesn't generally appreciate it. I know I'm getting ready for crash territory if I fully populate the interior.

I'm building 3D assets for my comic, because drawing starships in perspective at interesting angles,with unfolding wings is time consuming... I need to learn something like Blender. This is a PITA to do in OnShape. As a mechanical engineer, it's what I know... #comics #illustrations #assets

I'm on work travel, and I am taking the evening off to recharge, before another packed day tomorrow. I'm hoping a bit of #art in my #sketchbook will help with that! Same pages as before, but more time.

I love Obsidian! I used to use OneNote for everything, but I really liked the extensibility and open file format. I have been writing comic scripts in it recently. I've got the world and plot draft for a graphic novel in there. As, well as my daily notes, random ideas, TTRPG notes, and more! 🧠🪣

And the project continues! This is based off of a Star Wars themed Scum & Villainy TTRPG game from @evilhat.bsky.social, that I GM. Our crew is trying to figure out the significance of a stolen artifact. They were drawn to this Imperial Archeology site by the artifact. [ #WIP #Comic #Krita ]

I try to protect all my art and whatever I'm posting too, but Nightshade has been doing a number on my works. These are with intensity set to low, too. Nightshade makes it feel like an overcooked JPEG. I'm conflicted on whether it is worth it for someone just starting out. First image, only glaze.

Your piece is a beauty, I love those sunset colors! It feels epic. This is one of my most 'complete' pieces, where I was trying for a full scene. I'm proud of it, because it was quite the stretch for me and I feel like it turned out how I wanted it to look and feel.

For spring break, we took an camping trip from southern California through Arizona to visit as many National Monuments as we could! We love being outdoors where we find camping areas that most people can't get to, exploring them, and spending quality time together without the usual distractions.

I rendered this illustration in a cel shaded style, applied the depth of field blur hoping that it would make the Nightshade/Glazing a bit less pronounced, but it really chewed up the image. Below is without the effects. Seems like Nightshade may have the biggest affect on quality. Without Blur:

This image was made using Krita for Windows and Android. It also seems that Nightshade and Glaze really didn't appreciate the big flat color areas, so any anomalies in the flat colors are there for copy protects and anti-training.

I got a new monitor arm and got my desk cleaned up a bit. This is my Work from Home/Play setup. Hence the double login. My big monitor can now come really far forward for when I'm drawing! Just installed it today, so we'll see how well the setup works long-term. [ #WFH #Art #Battlestation ]
