ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives. We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.

Mike Foley from The Age/SMH handing David Littleproud’s arse to him re the ridiculousness of his nuclear plan - particularly in relation to the Latrobe Valley and its lack of access to water.
Loose transcript:

I have a question about Victoria specifically in relation to the nuclear policy. The first coal plant that the private operator has slated, that's AGL, to shut is in 2035. They have a plan in place with the catchment authority to use their current entitlement of water at the ongoing rate at around 100 giga litres a year until 2070. On top of that, as you would be aware David, there is no spare water allocation in the catchment for irrigators or anyone. On the face of it, in the current balance, there is no spare water
entitlement if to go for a nuclear power plant were it to be built there, even when the coal plant shuts down. They need to fill the big great brown coal pit up with water. So, just wondering - when you spoke about the energy debate and the honesty and …kicking Labor for kicking things down the road, what would you say to the farmers in that catchment now before they vote at the upcoming election on May 3 about where the water will come from to service a nuclear power plant that could be up and running in less than 15 years?Follow-up question from same journo:

Just on that because this will be extreme interest of the farmers I speak to in the Latrobe Valleyment on the face of it, there is no spare water even when it shuts down, they need the current allocation to fill the current mine pit up to
2070. Are you committing to a dry cool reactor there that doesn't cost any more? And they cost two tore three times more in Russia?
How do you square that with the current costings?

Littleproud: “We've said that clearly the capacity constraints will be limited by the water entitlement available.”

Journo: But there's no water entitlement available.
