TIL that not all "groups" are equal when it comes to managing *access* to #PowerBI reports (via the App Audience dialog) vs managing what *data* they see (via the Row-Level Security dialog). You can use M365 groups for app access, but not for RLS (PBI says they are invalid, but not *why* this is).

I actually had 4 of these in the lounge until the rest of the family told me that 4 big speakers + inability to open/close door due to said 4 speakers’ combined width would no longer be tolerated.

Nothing like new (or new to you) speakers to focus the attention in a way that brings out new things in beloved tracks.🙂 (Most of the gear that passes through my hands has had years if not decades of run in. Current old-school fave is B&W DM6 aka Pregnant Penguins circa 1979. They still got it)

Any datavis folk have side hustles? Mine has become a full-time hustle, with vis the side-hustle at the moment…I have 237 vintage stereo items listed on TradeMe (Aotearoa/New Zealand’s version of eBay)! I think I have another hundred or so things to list. Should whip up a chart.

Mixed reviews of a pretty famous album released years back. Someone out there could probably guess what the album is off this alone. It would be interesting to visualize correlations between album reviews for all albums reviewed by all these sources. Wonder if it has been done?

I was just gonna complain that you STILL couldn't expand the #PowerBI workspaces pane in order to see the full title of workspaces, but when I went there to take a screenshot for this complaint look what I saw! How long has that been there for? I like quality-of-life improvements. More please.

Here’s my current lounge setup: Tannoy Arden, KEF Reference 104/2, Linn Klimax Control pre and Linn Akkurate 4200 power, Michell Hydrolic Reference Turntable plus a Rotel RP-3000 with an SME 3009 on the other side, Quad 99 CD, WIIM Ultra Streamer, and most importantly an understanding wife.
