A 15x7in. Mixed Media painting using paint markers, inks, and white out on an upcycled piece of wood broken down from a drawer in a piece of furniture somebody was throwing away. The shapes and patterns in the painting are mostly primary colors with more dark reds, reds, oranges, and blues than anything else. There is a repeating heart motif and black circles and dots

I started this piece in San Francisco and it appears to have started spontaneously A/B testing itself. Has this happened to anybody else?

Black ink drawing on an 8 in x10 giclée print of a colorful mixed media piece. The ink uses the suggestion of shapes in the greens, reds, blues, yellows, pinks, and browns of the background to bring out certain images, but they're hard to describe. While there are some real images in here there's also a whole lot of visual noise to make you see all sorts of stuff that isn't really there. For instance, in the bottom right quadrant, there's a bowl of food with steam on it that appears to be sitting on a red counter with a yellow background and then there's maybe a green stomach above it? Or some sort of coral growing on a row of teeth stretching back impossibly far in the suggestion of a horse's skull growing out of the armpit of an eye on a stalk? There are actually a ton of eyes in this thing --one of them has shapes sticking out of it and is yellow, but the color is deliberately offset to draw your eye upwards to a cute cartoon dog, and wait is that another eyeball of it that might be part of a cloud or bunch of grapes, some organic shape, and wait are those intestines above it? I haven't shared this here yet. This commission from a couple of years ago was for an "into the blue' theme on the guitar. The unfinished wood might be painted robin egg blue when it's done, but my part is over. I'd love to do this or something similar again #abstractart #painting #guitar #custom

She definitely did some pattern work with shapes and colors too, I only say that I did "most" because it reached a point where she was just doing cooler detail work every time we swapped so I could play around with the bigger pattern

It was a pretty close collaboration while hanging out, so there was a ton of swapping back and forth. I did the ballpoint figure drawing near the top as well as most of the color, shape, and geometric pattern stuff which she turned into vague melting faces, monsters, and organic imagery w/ black ink
