Margaret Hamilton, who lead the 100-person team that wrote the onboard software for the Apollo missions, guiding Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to a safe landing on the moon, died Sept. 30 in Cambridge, Mass. She was 90. Her death, in a hospital, was confirmed by her daughter, Lauren.

I saw first hand a new Army recruit in Ft. Sill jump out of a 3rd floor window. So I understand what stress can do, although I'll still say the sailor jumping off a ship is really a one-off situation and is not typical, but not uncommon either. It's Hegseth's response that's the problem.

I can't resolve how 8 of the 17 servicemembers killed for this Iran war are officers. Nearly half, when only the Space Force has a 1:1 ratio but aren't *truly* active combatants. That is, Space Forcians aren't deployed in the region, or so I believe. 1/2.
