prepping a lecture on Claremont and Byrne's Dark Phoenix Saga is crazy for me. I open this book and I'm 4 years old in my dad's basement looking into a milk crate full of dusty comics, and taking Uncanny X-Men 131 out of a plastic sleeve. SF, fantasy, this is where it all started for me
