I completely forgot about this piece and honestly am not sure I can explain whatever my thought process was with it anymore but I do still like the way the ice looks....

Final Destiny 2 update has me thinking about my old ocs. I've been talking about them a little bit on my other account, but might as well share some of my old scribbles of them over here.

Sometimes, when you cannot play the new bug game because the system on which you are playing needs to charge, you instead draw your oc as a bug. And then proceed to come up with a whole bunch of lore and story for them. As one does.

Drawing of my original character Lament as a Hollow Knight-esque character. He is intended to be a moth warrior, wearing dark armor on his abdomen and wielding a great nail. He has dark blue fuzz around his head and shoulders, and his cape/wings are a purple-blue color. Instead of the more typical mask, his face is obscured bey a veil attached to a circlet, and there is similar fabric draped over his waist.

Thinking about a project I never really went anywhere with and working on some characters for it again. Mostly thinking about the history and backstory to the part of the story I originally wanted to write, so not super useful, but hey, it's something.

Alright last thing. Waai Fu that I drew a while ago and still enjoy. I really like her she's cute & I think her story is fun. I need to get back to Arknights but it's one of those interests that ebbs & flows.

Also found some old design stuff inspired by a Drawfee episode of Dark Souls characters in the Hollow Knight style or vice versa, though I never got around to finishing the illustration I'd planned to do with it.

Sheet containing references of Hollow Knight characters Quirrel & Grimm as well as enemy models as well as one shot of the Blue Lake, and references of Lucatiel of Mirrah from Dark Souls 2. The bottom of the page includes a few rough design sketches, one cleaner sketch, and then a finished illustration of the artist's interpretation of Lucatiel as if she were in the Hollow Knight art style/universe.

Your wounds give rise to a dark shadow. My boy is literally named Lament, you can't give me that line and a doppleganger called "Anguish" and not expect me to want to do something with it. I don't think I fully achieved what I was trying but I'm still reasonably pleased with it.
