I am thinking about getting a "HeyPocket" device Anyone here used them before? Since I will be starting doing interviews soon, they seem like a pretty good tool for that to capture both the audio and the transcript at the same time. #heypocket #PodcastInterview #podcasting #interviewtips

I enjoy book hunting at estate sales. They seem to be one of the forgotten items at these, but one of the most valuable to people like me. What book finds have you made when perusing the forgotten realm of estate sale books? #estatesale #estatesalefinds #estatesalebooks #inkcoffeeandregrets

Note to self. Watch what you type. Advising others that a feature has been defecated, when you meant to write Deprecated, can be seen as violently humorous, or looked down upon. Audience results may vary.

I have questions about conducting interviews, as I am being asked, more and more, if I would interview authors on my Podcast. In short: 1. Do you work out the questions to be asked in advance? 2. Should I send a list of questions to the author? 3. Is there a "sweet spot" for how long it should be?

I have set a goal. I want to go tp Burning Man. I am planning this for my 60th birthday. But I really want to go. It's almost a pull I feel to be there. And I want to be a part of a camp, and not only attend, but be a part. #burningman #burningman2028

So wanted to see if "Colossus: The Forbin Project" was streaming for free. No streaming service had it, but "Just Watch" shows you similar shows or movies. It showed me a link to "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia". Methinks the algo is broken. #colossustheforbinproject #scifi #ClassicMovies

I am excited that I have had several new followers in the last month. But for all of you new ones... I like to read new books by new authors and talk about them on my show. I'm a bit of an "autobibliophile." In that I love autographed books. So tell me how to get one from you!

Why is it that the US could not be led by people more like Dolly Parton? Imagine if she were our leader? She would have been smart enough to surround herself with people who knew what they were doing, and were able to do it with compassion and honesty. She will be sorely missed. #dollyparton

I have GOT to say this again. I was on "X", FKA "Twitter" and never felt good about the people or the culture. It felt like a battlezone. BlueSky is SO, SO much better. I am always amazed at the feedback (positive and negative) that I get here that is always so motivational and pleasant.

I talked about this in brief before. Gistvox is a “mini‑podcast” platform giving creators 2‑minute voice posts . It’s a quick way for writers to share updates, promote work, and build interest. I’ll use it for general news around Ink, Coffee, and Regrets and broader creative notes.

Why is it I have issues with the word, "Flavorful"? When someone tells me, "The restaurant was great, and the food was flavorful." it makes me think they are selling something. Flavorful feels like a made up word. Like an AI word, or like a word that should be on a list of AI watch words.

I do this thing. I've done it for years and just forget I'm doing it anymore. Someone asked me something like, say, "Do you know what you're doing?" Invariably I will respond with, "As far as you know." Tell me... Where did I get that from? ;-) Without Googling.

Taking a moment to shout out to my son, Gideon. He is 15 and did a presentation at the Tulare Ag Expo for his FFA robotics team and I was told he knocked it out of the park. He is an amazing kid and I know he will be so much better in life than I ever was. And that is what parenting is about!

So on Saturday, we were driving around town and I saw this man. Not sure what he was doing, but it looked like he was checking his tires. But the appearance, from where I was, looked like he was "humping" his car. As we drove by I yelled, "Get a room!" He did not seem amused.

I figured out, today, what it is about Anime that bothers me. Over the years I have developed a bit of a hearing problem, so I have started relying, without really thinking about it, on watching lips when people talk. So you see where this is going, since Anime lips really move without pattern.
