As a fan of French pop and someone who grew up in Birmingham, I can't believe I have missed the work of Jams Birmingham until now...

That was my drop off point with The Cure, and I think I need to reassess my 90s stance in the same way I've now accepted Suede's Head Music for what it is!

It's not their best, or most popular album but Orbus Terrarum has been my go-to soundtrack for getting work done for 30 years! From Uni assignments in the 90s to meeting deadlines for work reports today it gets me in the zone. #nowplaying

70s Bowie is good, especially where you could choose one song from each (non Pinups) album! I'll probably do Joni Mitchell though.

I've enjoyed Sandinista more than your average Clash fan for about 35 years, and yet it is only today I learn that it was Topper Headon who did the main vocal on 'Ivan meets G.I. Joe' www.youtube.com/watch?v=i70z...

#5debutalbums1519 Clairo - Immunity (2019) I'm sure if I thought about it for longer I'd come up with better albums, but this was the one of my highlight discoveries of that COVID year. Prefer this album to some of her more critically acclaimed follow ups.

Love those notifications about artists you 'follow' on TIDAL when a random act with the same name gets lumped in with them. I'm guessing this isn't the same Habibi as the Brooklyn indie 5-piece I'd prefer to hear about?
