Slayer is exactly what I should be doing if, like a dog 🐕 seeing a squirrel 🐿️ in the bushes 🪴, I didn't get distracted by other activities ever two tasks 😅

For the record, I also can't wait to play God of War Laufey!

000

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 13h

In fact, for me, it's the opposite. I played Drakengard 1 and until today I had no idea it led to Nier & Nier: Automata which I've heard of but never played. Has zero clue until tonight there was any link there!

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 14h

I'd somehow completely forgotten this game. After a quick Google - it lead to Nier!? Which then led to Nier:Automata!? What a wild pipeline.

Samesies 😭😭 (I did get Noon tho so can't complain too much really)

Sounds like you've already made some good decisions, especially with the Rogue & Graceful sets. If you haven't already set your sights on completing Recipe for Disaster, a multipart quest whose requirements cover a lot of bases and rewards you with Barrows Gloves - that'll be BIS for a long time!

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 18h

Surely with all those 7s you'll be guaranteed some good rng. As long as you don't warm any more exp, of course 😅

Am I coping too much if I think that's what the torn Wanted poster was hinting at?

Subscribing to the channel now so I don't miss it, looking forward to seeing what you've been working on when it's good & ready ☺️

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 19h

Oooooh that's really nicely done, especially the Lantern 🏮!

Right OSRS, RS3 & Dragonwilds folks, it's time for a post-RuneFest #StatCheck 📊 Monday! Let's see where you've all got to since last time (or if it's your first time posting your stats!). As you may have seen I've been at Guardians of the Rift, up to 83 RuneCrafting & 2140 Total Level.

My OSRS stats as of 5th October 2026. Only one level gained since my last statcheck post, 82 -> 83 RuneCrafting bringing me to 2140 total.

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 19h

I did a very quick search for RS3 Nexus and didn't turn up anything immediately obvious as Zanaris/Fairy-linked so.... We'll see I guess 😅

010

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 19h

They still need to let us into the Colosseum as the crowd to watch our friends compete. That'd be such good community content.

010

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 19h

Two finales in a year is certainly good going. I don't know if I'm just missing Lore but I've no idea what the Nexus is meant to be, it's talked of in the trailer kinda like I should already know?

100

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 19h

Mod Rice is awesome, so I'm happy they are the one working on it, it won't be easy. Sincerely I hope they find a way!

010

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 19h

What skills would you like them to include in said "skilling dungeon"?

110

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 20h

It's such a good weapon! Congratulations on getting your hands on it. Did you get the helmet too?

100

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 20h

I did think we'd be seeing a GrandMaster conclusion so I was kinda surprised that this is the finale, I don't recall how RS3 ended up but I'm not going to peek & just be excited to find out when it comes. Hopefully more fuel for a Goblin League in the future 🤞

010

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 20h

Hell yeah, I love hearing other people's takes! The Lore 📚 potential of The Fractured Archive seems absolutely huge, the trailer does a great job of putting that front and centre. My only concern on that front is, with it being a raid, will those plot threads ever get followed up on?

110

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 21h

Baird is my goat through the whole series

010

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I gotta admit I'm still behind, having only played all the games story campaigns except 5, which I'd only played the Multiplayer of. 3 was my favourite multiplayer. 2 was my favourite campaign. I actually really liked Judgement.

Can't wait to play the new GoW even more now!

210

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Looks like you've made a strong start across the board, especially for an Ironman! If there's anything you need help with there should be a few of us over here on BSky able & willing to help, otherwise the Wiki & your own adventure will do you more than fine. Good luck, have fun!

110

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I'm afraid I don't have an account able to do it *but* there is a chat channel you can join "OSRS soa" made specifically for assisting with this! If you go into the "grouping" tab of the friends/clan section you should be able to find Shield of Arrav in the drop down, then click "join". Good luck!

Absolutely deserved, congratulations to all of you! The RuneScape Art 🎨 Community's 🫂 dedication, talent & passion is undeniable & you're a credit to the whole RuneScape community, whichever game you play.

Although I've read the RS3 wiki page on it at some point in the distant past I will be doing my best to avoid finding out/remembering any detail. I'm definitely excited for it!

Seemed pretty inebriated during the hosting, including doing a shoey on stage. Felt like the Golden Gnomes, meant to be about celebrating the community, were more focused on them the host than the winners at times.

000

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, as someone who does play all 3, unlike me, what are your initial feelings on the RS4 announcement?

Most of the OSRS Community 🫂 would agree there's no better time to start, than now.

120

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

It needs a mechanic rework, a drop rework (like Nex? Idk I haven't done Nex either) & ideally an edited version of the Summer's End quest to put it there.

110

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Always happy to see someone who's getting something that I'm not. Maybe my dislike of Slayer is prejudicing me against this one? Still, I'll undoubtedly give it a go when it comes out, it's entirely possible I'll be won over ☺️

000

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Agreed, that could certainly be a target for next year's Summer Sweep Up!

110

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I see what you are saying, my preference for Gu'Tanoth for example, would be to link it to a quest, to embed it in the world. Doesn't have to be a quest (Royal Titans are an excellent example of the environmental storytelling being enough) but the less bosses out of nowhere like Corp, the better.

110

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Absolutely deserved Golden Gnome & you are quite right, what a lovely description of your hard work & dedication ☺️

010

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Yes, exactly, I knew I missed something! Either Jagex has no-one giving more than a cursory glance to review products/contents they'll be signing off on, or they think they can get away with it, or they don't care. Several times in the same week isn't exactly filling us with confidence.

010

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I totally see your point of view & I trust Jagex that they'd make the encounters varied & fun to complete. However we're in no rush, I think, to fill the world with bosses when (ideally) the game has many many years left. I don't want the world to feel overpopulated like (sorry) I think RS3 does.

110

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Ooh I didn't actually hear about this on! Do you have any more details? It's so frustrating that it takes the community to point these out. Either Jagex aren't checking/reviewing even with the most cursory measures, or they don't care/ it's been ok'd.

300

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Since Mod North, Jon Bellamy, the conservative bigot, has been in charge of Jagex the direction has been on a downward trajectory. It's a real shame. Only a few years back they were undoubtedly in their golden era.

000

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Finally, finally note the last line of text on the roadmap. "and Seasonal Events". Pride 🌈 belongs in Gielinor. Fuck Mod North. I will always strive to build & maintain a safe space around me IRL, in gaming 🎮 & in Gielinor. Let's be there for each other this next year. Thanks for reading. 😘

"In addition to this roadmap we will deliver ongoing quality of life changes throughout the year, along with improvements to the user experience, and seasonal events"

Inghost 👻 Wraith @inguswraith.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Winter Roadmap. Well yeah, I guess. I suppose that's confirmation there'll be no Summer Summit in 2027? Just leaves me to say what was missing: WHERE IS HD MODE & THE MOBILE PLUGIN HUB JAGEX? Hmmmmmm? 🫠🫠🫠🫠

Mystery Box the second! Except this time it's a torn Wanted poster. I've not seen any discussion on this yet but could it be the next Quest in the Temple Knights series? AFAIK Solus Dellagar is still alive after his capture in Wanted, maybe he escapes again? Weird to not be Sea slug related tho.
