Day 32 of the Hobby streak! Haven't posted in a bit but wanted to get back in the habit and show my helsmith test model finally finished. Really happy with the level of detail, ready to start with the rest of the spearhead! #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos #HobbyStreak

Helsmith of Hashut chaos dwarf mini with green tinted armor with purple gems on helm and shield. Stands upon chaos waste blueish and pinkish base.

Chaos dwarf mini side view with both shield and tactical rock in all their glory.

Don't know what compels me to work on these models everyday but then just sit on the photo for a couple of days before posting. Went to see 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, so could only fit in a torso #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos #hobbystreak

Single chaos dwarf mini with no arms and legs. One day maybe head to the Bone Temple.

More chorf infantry assembled as I think about base scheme. Going to try to paint shields separate so I can get to all the little nooks and crannies. #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos #hobbystreak

3 unpainted chaos dwarfs minis with shields and left arms in front. The model in battle pose on the left needs help standing up for the photo

Targor rageshade on all the non silver bits. Not as dramatic as the green contrast wash but def pulls the more bronze bits together. It's been super incremental but hoping when I am done, I can start doing these 3 at a time! #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos #hobbystreak

Chaos dwarf miniature in green metallic armor and purple gems, base still undecided

Posting through my hobby streak backlog, I can tell I was super busy this day and also reluctant to try the next wash step so just built half of the banner unit instead haha #warhammer #ageofsigmar #also #hobbystreak

Showing off the shield details as retouch the trim. Really loving the canoptek alloy, such an awesome metallic #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos #hobbystreak

Falling behind up dates but been keeping the streak alive! Need to practice with washes and contrasts more because was reluctant to start this step but happy with the green tint on the armor. #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos #hobbystreak

Waiting on the armor wash so changed the hip potion color to green, put more violet in the other glowy bits. #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos #hobbystreak

Partially painted chaos dwarf minature with spear and shield.

Today was about trying out a purple accent for the glowy bits but might want to skew it more violet to stand out. #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos #hobbystreak

Partially painted chaos dwarf mini, slightly less partially painted with purple potion flash, hat gem, and spear bauble(?)

Paint job has started! Working on a Ur-Zorn scheme but planning to tweak the demon energy, smoke, and other glowy bits in purple. Hobby Streak day 5 done. #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos

Weather still bad so just building out the rest of the unit. Hopefully the weather improves for priming soon, really want to test the scheme! Hobby streak day 4 #warhammer #ageofsigmar #aos

4 plastic miniatures sit on hobby matt as Grey sentinels, unprimed and unpainted.

Hobby streak day 3! Weather was bad so instead of priming, I just built another dwarf. Hoping to have more time tomorrow to actually get painting.

you could make an argument that the first person shooter is the only great truly american art form of the modern age. i wouldnt do that because it sounds really stupid reading it back. but you probably could idk

Most of us did not choose to write or draw or design so that we could put products on the shelf. We chose to do it because it’s a set of skills we enjoy exercising, that give us fulfillment. It’s like asking a pro pitcher to just let a machine pitch for them. Fuck off and give me the ball.

There are basically only two opinions about the film Aliens vs Predator. 1. It is a non-stop thrill ride honoring both franchises with a powerhouse lead performance by Sanaa Lathan 2. I don’t appreciate cinema

Looked up one of the very few characters on the Marvel vs Capcom 2 wiki that no one has bothered to update and I think the default template unintentionally sums up the Pros and Cons of a lot of characters in the game beautifully.

Strengths: Is in MvC2

Weaknesses: Is in MvC2

It has come to my attention that not nearly enough of you know about Bernd das Brot, the German children's program about a clinically depressed loaf of bread who enjoys studying his wallpaper and eating gruel and whose catchphrases include "my life is hell" and "I would like to leave this show."

An anthropomorphic loaf of bread with bulging eyeballs and hands that grow directly out of his body, next to his mouth, and look oddly human except that there are only four fingers. The photo is good but I must implore you to check out the video.

In 1995, the NEC Fish Club was created for hotels and restaurants. It provided a "virtual" fish tank using a 32" Sony HDVS CRT and a Sony HIL-C2NE laserdisc player inside an industrial fish tank design, making the fish displayed via Hi-Vision (HD) video look incredibly lifelike.

People are messy and things will happen to each and every one of us that defy easy explanation. Allow the stories you tell and the art you create that same grace.

Please be crazy on main for your favorite little thing! Please. Way too many people decide to only shit on stuff in public, because they fear people will make fun of them if they‘d show genuine love for something. But you shouldn’t care. Pick your favorite little idiot and present them proudly! 🧡
