Going through UK Commonwealth Office archives when I discovered a press clipping from May 1965 when "Emmerson Dambudzo" avoided a mandatory death sentence and received 10 years (underage) for bombing a train engine in Fort Victoria, Rhodesia. Emmerson is now President of Zimbabwe. 🫢
