Fascinated by this list: Cinematheque France celebrates 90 years by picking 2 films per year (1936 to 2025) and no directors twice. Not a strict canon, often surprising, full of illuminating options, this will be guiding some of my viewing going forward for sure. www.cinematheque.fr/article/2520...

 Reform councillor 'broke wind

 By Will Morgan

 A REFORM UK councillor
 has been accused of "lifting
 his cheeks and farting" at
 another politician during a
 meeting at Blackburn with
 Darwen Council.
 Around
 halfway
 into
 Thursday night's four-hour

 a much louder motion that

I'm not sure Taja Sevelle has ever identified as black either. I had a look when I was thinking of nominating her and the only thing I could see her say about her ethnicity was that she was an "all-American mutt"
Section of Record Mirror that reads " Bingo! So that's how it happens. Taja 's debut
single, "Love Is Contagious', has become a hit, and
her self-titled album looks set to do likewise. Of
course, cynical people might say that Prince
introduced himself to Taja because he likes cool,
 exotic-looking ladies.
"Well, I suppose I am attractive, but really I'm just
an all-American mutt. Name any ethnic minority in
the States and I've probably got some of it in my
 ancestry.
"If people think I'm a puppet they're very wrong.
He is certainly not standing behind the scenes pulling
the strings of my career. Actually, I don't even know
Prince that well. We speak on the phone from time
to time but we're not real close. You guys in the
media probably know him better than I do.

A 1970s poster: Milton Keynes is a great place to put down roots. The main image is of a mother, father and two children standing awkwardly in the garden of a red brick new build house. It's somewhere between nostalgic, melancholy and spooky.

Yes that is madness. Also fade-out aside it's a perfect bathetic ending after the pathos of There Is A Light. Much like the Beatles liked to end on a throwaway rather than a big statement. But with added Marr beauty
