SLOP WATCH: The Metroid Prime PC port is AI slop. The upstream actual decomp project is not, however, making this extra disrespectful. They're (very poorly) trying to hide it too. The claude and agents files are in the .gitignore but they forgot to remove claude from the contributors. #slopwatch

AGENTS, CLAUDE and STATUS in the .gitignore file, along with claude settings. note that these do not exist in the upstream decomp.

To follow up quotes like: "Discord's privacy woes" & "Discord has suffered another user data breach" with: "Discord was not targeted directly" Is wild because this was actually an attack on some unaffiliated bot & not Discord itself whatsoever This is 100% outrage-bait

SLOP WATCH: The Sonic Adventure recomp is vibe coded. You can tell because they say so and also because every code comment is a 4+ line short story and people who have actually done real decomp work (SPEEPSHighway) have no clue what it's even doing despite this. gj clod i mean claude #slopwatch

Saw via a vtuber feed a transwoman who self labeled as a yandere and prided herself on making people lolcows and bullying them into deleting their channels and this image flashed in my head You're not better for becoming who bullied you online but with a TransTwist. You're repeating their bullshit

Getting tired of untested vibecoded ports that are just buggy and because no experienced coders are around, they can't fix it? Never fear, as I have listed decomps and recomps done by actual people and it will continue expanding! If you know any, lemme know!

Good news about the BFBB playthrough: I am now fully caught up on the off screen save, so I can continue the live playthrough on that no matter what.

Good news about the BFBB playthrough: I've obtained almost everything I reasonably should offscreen on the new save aside from a couple leftover spatulas, which means I can continue from there once I finish what I can on stream on the softlocked save.

I've run into an unfortunate (But known) game breaking bug with the 1.00 release of BFBB Deluxe: I'm softlocked out of the "Really Rolly Robot Race" task, which means no 200% completion.

This may be pushed back to September 22. I'm unsure of the time of day the mod is releasing.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wirr... Alright, since we have a proper release date for this mod I'm officially announcing it now: Indigo Mark II 3D debut is happening September 20th, 2026. I'll be playing this mod and showing off my new 3D avatar on stream for the first time. #VTuber #ENVTuber

I've distro hopped again. I'm now on Cachy since I was having issues with KDE neon. Hopefully Cachy has less issues for my niche use case since I'll have more up to date packages.

A game mod I've been waiting on for ages is finally supposed to release this month, so whether or not I finish whatever I was doing on OutRun in time I'll be debuting my new 3D model this month. I'll finally be able to use hands.

Might distro hop again. I've been having some esoteric technical issues with KDE neon. Gonna try Cachy next, since that'll have more up to date packages. Should be a bit more accessible than mainline Arch too. After I distro hop I'll look into getting my 3D model set up for VRChat.

I've been a bit more disengaged from social media lately (I quietly left Twitter maybe a month or so ago now) but I've decided that I'm gonna do some video editing streams now. I've got a 4+ year backlog of streams I could edit down so might as well. This is gonna replace Casual Fridays for now.
