Took a small break from the grey of blocking out to work on something a little more colourful. An idea I had for an interchangeable hammer/axe. Complete with nails and clay wedges for splitting sturdier wood and soft stone. #gameart #indiedev #b3d #substancepainter

Alternates angles of the hammer and axe configurations in addition to a close up of the haft and demonstration of the hammer head when unused and suspended from a metal loop.

Close up renders of the perforated parchment strips and metal clips used to contain the nails and wedges. The intention is that they can be attached to the carpenter's clothing allowing them to be reached easily when working atop large scale constructions.

Remember that, in California, even if you get severance, you can still receive unemployment. Severance is what's owed to you in lieu of a stable job, but unemployment is yours as soon as you lose your job. You paid CA's high taxes for this safety net, use it. #GameDev #Layoffs

It's #PortfolioDay Hey everyone. I'm an Environment Artist at Rebellion. Here is some personal work: a ruined UE5 interior. Then some Rebellion gamedev work from Sniper Elite 5. A flooded village and an abadoned, beautiful manor that has sadly been occupied by Axis powers. SE5.

Circular, ritual room. Windows have daylight flood the otherwise dark interior. In the middle floats a rock orb that has blue crystals attached to it. They glow in a mystical way. To the side of the room walls are lots of roots and from them bloom blue flowers, facing the blue crystals. Unreal 5 screenshot.

Similar shot as before but now some of the walls are missing and open. A starry night is seen there. The room is lit and overflowed with purples. The crystal in the middle that floats and was blue before is now green. UE5 screenshot.
