Collage graphic with photos of Min Yoongi of BTS, a sparkler, two people drawing a smiley face on the sand, graffiti text that says "I hope u know how loved u are", a kiss mark on a collar of a shirt, sign that says "Dreamers open 24/7", two arms pressed together in a hug, splashed water, and Jung Hoseok of BTS.

Title: hold tight, you’re slowly coming back to life
Rating: General Audiences
Status: Complete
Pairing: Sope

Tags: Childhood friends. Hurt/comfort. Idiots in love. First kiss

Summary:

Hoseok and Yoongi have been closest friends for over twenty years. Usually, they don't keep secrets from each other; usually, they tell each other everything.

But now, Hoseok is keeping something from Yoongi, for what feels like the very first time.

Yoongi tries desperately to set things right, to fix whatever went wrong between them.

All he wants is for them to be okay."

shout out to my fellow neurodivergents that feel like every interaction you have with people ends with choosing the incorrect dialogue option in a video game

Writing tip: After you finish, go back & cut all the adverbs. Then all the adjectives. Then all the other words. Eat the paper. Now you're free.

honestly if you're re-reading fic and can't leave kudos again, just the comment "rereading this!" would probably make the author cry and throw up with joy
