I think many just "assumed" that after Jan 6 2021, Trump would remain a part of America's history and just went on with their lives. But then we had 2024. Biden's disaster of a debate with Trump. The anointing of Harris. Then the election of Trump 2.0. That definitely woke them up.

I think the fascistic movement in America was simmering for decades and finally found their leader => Trump/MAGA. The devoted enraged followers of Trump/MAGA will never stand down or deviate from their belief that Trump is their savior. Sadly, that seems to be about one-third of America.

I find it interesting that two of the three smallest States in the Union, Rhode Island & Vermont, consider themselves "weird". I don't know about DE. In VT you can find swag with the motto, "Keep Vermont Weird". I live in North Country NY, just across Lake Champlain, & I love going to "weird".

I just don't understand why so many are focused on Reagan, when the danger of Trump and his ideology is right before our eyes. Reagan was not a "perfect" POTUS, nor were those who succeeded him. Until... Now we have a POTUS named Trump who seeks nothing but domination.
