Well I’ve come out of the other end of diagnosis for suspected autism and ADHD, CPTSD and OCD with Autism, ADHD, CPTSD and OCD. Nothing was really that shocking, I saw these things myself but it’s nice that a professional acknowledged it. Self diagnosis is valid 100%. (1/4)

So, for what it's worth: I don't think AI is taking over jobs because it's better than people or even good at its job. I think it's taking over jobs because it's cheaper than people and bosses like cheap and aren't necessarily aware of the (very high) risk of bad, dangerous quality output (7/7)

I haven’t read the study but as an autistic person I can tell you mirroring emotions convincingly isn’t impossible. But just like you will probably be able to guess I’m mirroring and not feeling, the same thing could be said about AI. Bots don’t have anxiety, they have learned expected responses.

Australia has a concerning reliance upon the United States which compromises both the safety of its citizens and the sovereignty of the nation. The United States has elected a President that does not believe in the rule of law, social cohesion, the value of diversity and tolerance and exhibits a posture of isolationism and expansionism that is not in the best interest of Australia and its people.
