Kushner et al apparently benefitting from both Iran war and Russian war. The only GOP play at this point is to pee on America's leg and tell voters that it's raining. Dems are imperfect & we need to do better at running great candidates in primary elections. I always think about how Obama was not pro-gay marriage until he got pushed - I believe by Biden. I think Talarico can be pushed. I believe that Harris could have been pushed on Gaza. We need majorities.

Voting for neither is how we got a monster at the top of the ticket. We all deserve great candidates but, failing that, we vote for the candidate that we can push to do the right thing, not the one who has loudly and unabashedly stated that he will make things worse.

Not voting in an election where one of the candidates is a fascist is declaring that fascism is an outcome you’re willing to accept. Which, by definition, means you are not antifascist. You’re at best neutral.

You could also see it in how lots of people who’d been screaming that Harris loves genocide immediately started panicking after Trump won. Like it had only just occurred to them that that was the other possible outcome. Because it had never here occurred to them to think about the outcome at all.
