Kushner et al apparently benefitting from both Iran war and Russian war. The only GOP play at this point is to pee on America's leg and tell voters that it's raining. Even if there is a big Blue Wave (early voting is open - go now!) it can't possibly be as big as it should be, given the corruption.

I understand the wanting impeachment, but unless we have the votes to do that + removal, we're spinning our wheels. We only have so much time & stuff needs to get done. If there's two-thirds Dems in the Senate or can get the feckless GOP Sen on board, different story. Duckworth isn't wrong here.

Not voting in an election where one of the candidates is a fascist is declaring that fascism is an outcome you’re willing to accept. Which, by definition, means you are not antifascist. You’re at best neutral.

You could also see it in how lots of people who’d been screaming that Harris loves genocide immediately started panicking after Trump won. Like it had only just occurred to them that that was the other possible outcome. Because it had never here occurred to them to think about the outcome at all.

I don’t know how else to explain it. The thing where they’d say “I want Harris to lose” and I’d say “so you want Trump to win?” And they’d get mad. “How dare you say that?” They acted like elections are a completely symbolic referendum on whether the democrats are good enough, and nothing else.
