Most people in the USA have been very willing to allow a great deal of state violence so long as they do not need to witness or experience it regularly. MAGA has used this to push the limit of how much violence the USA will tolerate. There is no reason to think the escalation will stop.

I think a lot of monosexuals (and even some bisexuals) forget/don't know that being bi isn't "50 percent straight, 50 percent gay." You can prefer one gender, even massively. For example, I vastly prefer women and fem-aligned folks to men/masc-aligned folks. It can also change.

I don't think Vox is homophobic/biphobic against others. I think he's only homophobic/biphobic toward himself. It's possible to do something like that. For example, plenty of people are ableist, fatphobic, etc. towards themselves but don't give other people trouble about being disabled, fat, etc.
