We need to recognize the snow clearing issue for what it is: a policy failure. It should not be up to residents like this mother to plea that people do this. The reality is that citizen lead snow clearing will always be inconsistent and we need to invest public $. www.therecord.com/news/waterlo...

Building unaffordable housing will *not* solve the housing crisis. "Vacancy rates in Waterloo Region are growing, but low-income earners may still have trouble finding a place to live...The vacancy rate in Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo has reached its highest level since 1993." #OnPoli

So many people whose entire identity for the past 5 years was swearing at the Prime Minister would face an existential crisis. I hope at least now they're able to find light in life.

Don't let anyone convince you that Canada is a bad country. Despite whatever challenges we're facing we're one of the best countries on Earth if not THE best 🇨🇦.

Should we continue to encourage kids to go to college ? Or push them to take up a trade ? I believe in college. Learning how to learn, IMO, is a critical life skill. Being exposed to people of different backgrounds, makes yiu wiser Qualifier- it should be a school you can afford.

Premier Ford needs to understand that if he legalized housing, housing would be accessible and if housing were accessible there won't be encampments. There won't be a need to suspend people's charter rights.

You can get your point across without swearing. You can get your point across without yelling. People are more likely to actually hear your message if your delivery does not put them on the defence. How we communicate matters.

Advent drawing of the day! Merry Xmas and happy holidays!

This image depicts a cartoon-style illustration of a character, representing the character "Père Noël" or Santa Claus. The character has a cheerful, wide-eyed expression, with a large round head, button nose. The character is wearing a red and blue outfit resembling a traditional Santa Claus costume, complete with a large sack over their shoulder, presumably containing gifts. The playful and whimsical style of the illustration is intended to spread the holiday cheer!

I'll never get tired of the winter ❄️☃️⛄🇨🇦🧤🧣🧦🥶🧥👖 📍 Waterloo park.

This image depicts a beautiful winter scene in a park or garden setting. The focal point is a snow-covered gazebo or pergola structure with a decorative arch, surrounded by trees and shrubs that are also coated in a layer of fresh snow. The path leading to the gazebo is cleared, creating a winding walkway through the snowy There's a wreath inside the Gazebo. The overall scene evokes a sense of tranquility and beauty, with the contrast of the stark white snow against the darker branches and structures. It's a serene and picturesque wintertime landscape.

It snowed. It snowed a LOT. 📍 Waterloo park.

The image depicts a serene winter landscape with a snow-covered park. The scene shows a central path winding through a grove of bare, snow-covered trees against a bright blue sky. There are various park amenities visible, such as benches and exercise equipment, all dusted in a fresh layer of snow. The overall atmosphere evokes a peaceful, wintry setting that is well-maintained and prepared for outdoor recreation despite the cold weather conditions.

Here's some whimsical art from the "Art for kids hub" YouTube channel. youtube.com/@artforkidshub No matter how big of a noob you are Rob Jensen and his family will turn you into artists.

The image shows two simple drawings of gift boxes. The boxes are red with green bows on top, and they have cute cartoon eyes and expressions. The text below the drawings says "Les Cadeaux", which means "The Gifts" in French.

This appears to be a whimsical and lighthearted representation of gifts or presents, with the anthropomorphized gift boxes having a playful, almost childlike quality to them. The artist has used a vibrant color palette and expressive line work to bring these simple gift box characters to life.

Let it snow, Let it snow, let it Snow. ⛄☃️❄️ 📍 Wilfrid Laurier university, Waterloo, Ontario, 🇨🇦

I stand in the snowy outdoor area at night, wearing a red and black winter jacket, gloves, and snowshoes. In the background, a large mural on the building displays colorful woodland art. The building is surrounded by snow-covered trees, and the ground is blanketed in white. The lighting from the building and streetlights creates a striking contrast against the dark night sky. I take in the wintry scene, enjoying the opportunity to explore this snowy environment.
