A Generalised Epigenetic Clock Reveals Therapeutic Vulnerabilities Linked to Ageing in Cancer Cells
Epigenetic clocks estimate biological age from DNA methylation patterns but perform poorly in cancer due to extensive epigenetic reprogramming, limiting the study of ageing in tumour biology. Here, we...

Excited to share our new bioRxiv preprint! We present GepiClock, an epigenetic clock trained on cancer methylomes predicting age in both cancer and normal samples outperforming previous clocks. Applied to cancer cell lines, it reveals age-linked gene dependencies and drug response vulnerabilities.
