Watched "Backrooms". Modern rubbish (which most of it is) commercial and residential architecture is psychotic and soulless. As is the furniture constructed to fill it. Maybe that's not what the film was supposed to be about but the set design was the strength of the film and wins.

Watching "10 Years with Hayao Miyazaki". I'm talking myself out of spending the few dollars to rent "Cobra Woman". I have watched so many bad films lately, but "Cobra Woman" is such a sequined spectacle of bad. The fact it stars Maria Montez just makes me want to watch "Lola Montez" again.

The restaurant had closed the second time we made our way through Roswell, which was too bad, its food was just fine, even better than just fine the day we were there, but something must have been wrong for it not to survive. After all it called itself the "Weather Balloon Tracking Center", themed for Roswell as a UFO mecca. That's the only reason we made our way there. We wanted kitsch. Our child was bearing an alien toy from the museum. Of course we wanted kitsch. I don't even remember where we ate the second time we were in Roswell.

Days ago Trump announced he was creating the AI Force. Then he said AI should be SI, Super Intelligence (which was obviously not thought out before he came up with the AI Force). Today he tells the UN from now on AI is SI, because "it's not fake...it's amazing".

Watched Anne Bancroft's only outing as a director, the 1980 "Fatso". I first read how it was mainly disliked, but I really like it. Behind the scenes of "Intravenus", 2025. Processed 2026. I put up a b&w version of this last year but I'm rather fond of the color as well. This old cafeteria room was wonderful. The Little 5 Points Community Center is in the building that was once the Moreland Avenue school, built in 1919.
