Such bs that the internet stopped being fun to be on right after the real world became blanket unsafe to exist in. I mean, the internet got gradually worse starting in the mid-2010s, but it was pretty fun in the first two years of the pandemic just for cultural reasons.

in TNG? I feel like the only option of someone you could seduce to change Picard's mind is Guinan, and that's pretty shaky. That or get lucky with your timing and run away with Ro Laren (very good option tbf) In DS9? yeah sure that should probably be the second option but it's still not easy.

If I got isekai'd into TOS I'd probably just go "Alright, do what you have to do, but you'll only have my cooperation if Dr. McCoy fixes some problems first." Knowing Kirk it's a 50/50. If I got isekai'd into Picard... yeah ok they can try to send me back but I'd rest easy knowing they'd fail.

If I got isekai'd into TNG, I would end up unintentionally driving Picard to send me back because of how much shit I would give him for, well, many things. If I got isekai'd into DS9 and pleading to Sisko to let me stay didn't work, I'd find the nearest Prylar and BEG for the Prophets to decide.

I can't overstate how much I used to love digital tech, and some aspects of that have deepened as I came to study it, but in the age of generative AI and growing mass surveillance it all looks so bleak. I wish I could just ignore it and focus on something else but there are so many reasons I can't.

I really wanted to go on an adventure today but instead I have to sit here waiting for a worker sent by my landlord who might show up essentially any time over a span of multiple days. At first I was hoping they wouldn't come before I normally wake up but now I just want it over with so I can relax.

In a sense, yes, but I feel like it's partially a big thing rn because there isn't much else to do. When the full thing releases we'll be levelling for a month or two and then doing endgame content. Now those with access are stuck awkwardly at 20 and making the most of it with wpvp.

If I had any such inclination generally I'd be tempted to start some kind of betting pool on how deep into autumn or ever winter we have to go before drought conditions end. October is just around the corner and while the heat has calmed down flora is still dying of dehydration everywhere you look.
