The 10 year results of our Fast-Forward trial of breast cancer radiotherapy have just been published. Thanks to all our trial participants and colleagues at NHS sites across the UK who contributed, helping us to confirm that one week radiotherapy is as safe and effective as a three week course. 🧪

Last week, the FAST-Forward Boost trial completed recruitment to the Early Side Effects Substudy with 345 patients randomised. The study will now be transitioning to the main trial part of the study with a target of 4,830 patients. You can read more about the trial here: www.icr.ac.uk/ff-boost

📢 We are doing a study called INTERACT to find out whether any groups of people have been less likely to take part in cancer studies in the UK. We'll use routine data collected by NHS England to see if there are any differences between those who joined our clinical trials and those who did not.
