Selfie of a smiling man with curly dark hair, glasses, and a graying beard, wearing an orange shirt. He stands on the Almada waterfront in warm evening light. Behind him, sailboats cross the choppy blue Tagus River toward Lisbon on the far shore.

View from the Boca do Vento panoramic elevator at sunset. A steep, scrubby cliff on the right drops to a waterfront path and old red-roofed buildings. Sailboats dot the calm blue river, and a city skyline sits low on the far shore under a pale sky.

Panoramic view of the sun setting behind the Ponte 25 de Abril, a long red suspension bridge over a rippling river. A sailboat crosses the water, and a city skyline with harbor cranes lines the far shore. Rocks fill the lower right, and graffiti-covered buildings stand on the left.

Jardim do Rio (River Garden) at sunset. Groups of people sit on the grass under large trees with twisting roots, facing the water. Sunlight filters through the leaves, and sailboats float on the river beyond. A hammock hangs in the background on the left.

Screenshot of four news results about a flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, diverted to Saudi Arabia after an alleged attempt by a pilot to crash it. The New York Times, "Live Updates: FlyDubai Pilot May Have Attempted to Crash Flight to Israel, Netanyahu Says."
