We know someone who used to be a football hooligan, many years ago. Long career as a respected QS and entrepreneur. Told us that he other hooligans he knew well were men like him, e.g. bank managers etc, all perfectly respectable other than on match days. This ⤵️ is bollocks.

I have a brand new MacBook Air, to replace the 9 year old Pro that was destroyed in a flood nearly 3 months ago — insurers coughed up, yay! — but I’ve spent most of my first day with it working out how to switch off all the shitty ‘AI’ and other unwanted inbuilt features, so I hate it already 😤

At 6.30am today — a Sunday — a friend (👀) texted this photo of us from a couple of weekends ago. I don’t usually care for pictures of myself (something to do with being a photographer, and a woman), but I saw this and thought, hey, not bad for people in their early-mid 60s! so fuck it

On the left a smiley man with greying blond hair, a whiter goatee, and cute dimples. To the right, a woman who was recently told she’d entered the ‘face like a battered handbag’ phase of life (or DILLIGAF, as I prefer to think of it) has a legionnaire cap on her head and is stuffing a cheese and onion pasty in her face. Both are wearing shorts and T-shirts and are sitting on sun bleached grass, with camera bags, cups of tea, paper plates and WI baked cakes strewn around them.
